The strongest emotion I felt was anger; because there are so many young people going through these same issues that Jeff expresses so wonderfully in this book of short stories.

With that said though I never once lacked emotion when reading these stories. Jeff Erno has managed to write this book perfectly. I know what you are afraid of. I believed their stated age, and I believed the emotions and stages they were going through.
Jan 13, RJ rated it it was ok Shelves: Tormented, ridiculed, and beaten—simply for being who they are—these teens face alienation, humiliation, and even the explicit assertion that they have somehow brought this upon themselves, that they should just blend in. Once I noticed it, it was hard to dismiss and it goes on till the very end.
The story is not so much only about a love affair. His bulliedd friend from school betrays him in a humiliating way and Kirby feels lost and alone until he meets Dustin, a new kid in school. Firstly, I was worried that the stories were going to be depressing, or that they would all end up badly and I would be left feeling unhappy.

Jeff has out done himself in this book. The reader really does join Jeff’s journey and rides along, the pace is realistic, but perhaps too realistic if one is looking for bulpied more structured read; this one is like a diary.

If I ever decide to write a book, I know it will be YA. I believe its the very first book he wrote and as a story it’s ultra enjoyable but the problem in my eyes was the lack of contractions. It made me want to go out and get involved in some way. Jeff possesses a gift. Jeff did it again. Books by Jeff Erno. He hurts Jeff multiple times, not maliciously, but in the careless fashion of self-absorbed teens who are preoccupied by their own space and fail to always recognize the consequences of their actions or are afraid of them.
Colleges care more about you than your SAT scores. Even when he was so smart he was also very insecure, after all he was only a child not even 1 4.
May we all remember Personally, I hear that a lot. I highly recommend it.
